Welcome to Weather-Above
This is my latest cloud sensor  the plastic container is a flower sifter.  It has a lid, with lots of holes in it
they cost approx 0.85p

Drill a small hole in the bottom of the plastic and fit a small cable gland  these are available from
Maplin Electronics parts number PG7  UP95D £0.89 .
Cut a circle out of a tin lid I used a Baked Bean tin this needs to fit inside the plastic container
Brazs a small brass pipe the one I used was cut from a old boiler thermostat this is just big enough
to fit in the temperature probe from the Oregon THC238, Paint the tin lid Black

Then assemble as the diagram is illustrating

Assembling the top using clingfilm
I cut a small plastic space out of a plant pot saucer ,
when you secure a layer of clingfilm, use a hairdryer.  This will shrink the film and make it as tight as a drum
place the plastic space on top and apply another layer of clingfilm
as you can see in the image the clingfilm has no wrinkles,
the image has some raindrops on the surface of the clingfilm.  This should help to stabilise temperature because of the air gap between the two pieces of clingfilm

On the outside of the plastic container I covered it with black electrical installation tape Followed by a layer of aluminium tape
